Engaging 4th–12th grade students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)
Jr.Tech STEM programs are hands-on workshops and camps for boys and girls in grades 4–12 led by STEM industry leaders.
Jr.Tech STEM Summits are one-day explorations serving high school girls in grades 8–12 interested in pursuing STEM careers.
Everyone from state and national leaders to industry CEOs agree that STEM is critical to the success of our country to remain competitive in the world marketplace, produce global leaders, and to guarantee a strong economy.
“21st Century Learners should be prepared to think deeply and to think well so that they have the chance to become the innovators, educators, researchers, and leaders who can solve the most pressing challenges facing our nation and our world, both today and tomorrow.”
Jr.Tech’s mission is to engage 4th–12th grade students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. We broaden students’ awareness of career paths in STEM, increase skills, and encourage a lifelong interest.
Jr.Tech accomplishes these goals by providing two services. We offer high quality, interactive, hands-on STEM workshops and camps for boys and girls in grades 4–12, and we host and deliver Girls STEM Summit, the premier Massachusetts statewide summit for high school girls in grades 8–12 who are interested in pursuing STEM degrees and exploring STEM career choices.
