Design your own Dream House!

Would you like to imagine the house of your dreams? Do you daydream about places and spaces and then imagine bringing them to life through a sketch or from materials you have around you? Do you wonder what it might be like to be an architect or design planner? In this online STEM workshop, you will work with your teammates and instructor to explore the architecture around you, solve structural design challenges, draft and draw site and floor plans, and build your own scale model of your dream house! Enjoy incorporating math, science, technology, engineering and visual art skills to explore the concept of architecture, design and design thinking. We provide your very own kit of design tools for the program you’ll be able to draw more plans with long after the course is done. If you like to draw, conceptualize, build, and imagine great spaces, this course is for you! Time will be arranged to pick up materials kit on Cape Cod.

• Times: November 7 & 14 — 9:30 am – 12 pm and November 21, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
• Grades: 6 – 7
• Price: $175 (includes fee for various materials including a reusable 3D home kit and several architectural design tools)

• Note: Private Link for Zoom and Google Classroom login will be sent after registration is complete. Time will be arranged to pick up material kit. Cape Cod pickup only. Kits can be mailed off Cape Cod for an additional postage fee.
