Jr.Tech of Cape Cod expands STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education to Cape Cod students with a variety of workshops.

Osterville, MA May 15, 2019 – Jr. Tech is announcing their 2019 summer vacation STEM programs for students in grades 4 – 12. These programs will take place on various days throughout the summer at Osterville Village Library, 43 Wianno Ave., Osterville, MA.

Science Wonder Lab: Part 1!
Experience a fun summer day full of hands-on science activities and engaging projects!
July 8, 9am-3pm
Entering grades 4-6
Fee: $65

Science Wonder Lab: Part 2!
Join us in August for another full day of exciting new activities and science projects!
August 12, 9am–3pm
Entering grades 4–6
Fee: $65

Beginner Coders!
Start early building skills in coding, sequencing, debugging, loops, conditionals, and functions!
August 13–15 9am-3pm except Tuesday which will be 9:30am-3:30pm
Entering grade’s 4–7 Fee: $155

Getting Started with Web Development!
In this two week workshop, students will learn how to design, style, and program their own websites from scratch. July 8-12 and July 15-19 9am-3pm except Tuesdays which will be 9:30am-3:30pm
Entering grades 7–12
Fee: $440 (this is only $7 per hour for two weeks!)

Introduction to Basic Computer Algorithms!
Have you ever wondered why computers are so fast and efficient, or how programs operate under the hood?
July 22–25, 9am–3pm
Entering grades 7–12
Fee: $210

Building a PC!
Get under the hood of a PC and understand how it all goes together!
July 26, 9am –1pm
Entering grades 7-10
Fee: $52

3D Computer Game Programming!
Over the course of two weeks, students will learn how to develop both 3D and 3D games using the Unity engine. July 29 – August 2 and August 5 – August 9
9am-3pm except Tuesdays which will be 9:30am–3:30pm
Entering grades 7-12
Fee: $440 (this is only $7 per hour for two weeks!)

We broaden students’ awareness of career paths in STEM, increase skills, and encourage a lifelong interest.
